I always look for excellent  hunting deals and yes sometimes I  feel  like I  had hit the jackpot ....
Who wouldn't if you had save so much money  right?

Went to  the Mall  just to  browse around and then  finally I  found some really good bargains from one of my favorites stores JUICY COUTURE !!!

I saw theses boots that  I have been eyeing for  a long time but paying $100 plus these boots are a little bit expensive , however the Main Manager in the store whom I became friends with said that the boots are on sale for $50 plus a 40% off for all sale items upon hearing this , I hurried myself to  the shoes area and started looking at  these babies and yes luckily they  fit me very  well.

I  know that  winter has been long gone , but I really need some good winter boots  and these babies are EXCELLENT for  the next  WINTER .

The boots are super comfy  they are lined with   warm fleece  and then with fur trimmings in the boots opening which helps a lot in warming your feet during winter time.

I has a non skid sole lining which is very important also  when you  buy boots for snow and ice .

I am so  happy with these boots that  I only paid $60 for 2 pairs .... I could say this  day is so  worth it  Yay!!!

A Fallen Brother

We usually celebrate our Memorial Day  by  just  watching parades and tributes in the television while we chow  down  in an ALL AMERICAN FOOD TRIP

But  this year, it's all different,  we had to go to church  and then stopped by  at around 10am in St Augustine Cemetery  which is usually the nearest  cemetery  that honors servicemen that  had passed away ... and one of those men in uniform is my late uncle Roger who had passed away  last Year ( DEC. 10. 2011)

It's still painful  to  think  that  Uncle  Roger is gone and he is not here with with us anymore,  it is gonna be a different year  for  all  the  occasions that  we celebrate.

Happy Mother's Day 2012

There are so  many  ways how  to say I LOVE YOU mom ,

 and ONE way  to do this ,  is to treat her in a good  Sunday lunch .
Since Mother's Day ended up  on a Sunday , me and my cosuins decided we would eat some yummilicious dimsum Chinese food.

The best way  to  enjoy a good  lunch is to start  with  HOT JASMINE TEA

 ( this is  one of the best  Jasmine tea I had , I mean brewed to  perfection )

While we got our drinks, I was amazed with this  cookie shaped like a flower 

and seems so  yummy  . I couldn't resist I had to  snap a pix of  it .

the food  was great and the dessert was fantabulous ... we will surely eat in this place again .

Since I'm the cook right now @ home , I prepared dinner that my mom & brother would like to munch on ... Grilled some Salmon steaks dashed with Herbs de Providence and Olive oil 
And to add   that  sauteed some green beans and brocolli crowns and a home made Manga Acchara :)
